Chandrika Ravi is an Australian born model cum actress. Chandrika was born in Melbourne. Her father was a Malayali and her mother is an Tamilian. She’s one of the trained Indian dancer & learned some professional dance training in “Bharathanatyam” and “Kathak” Indian Classical dance form. And also she has some experience in western dance form called Jazz”, “Contemporary” and “Ballet” from The Australian National Youth Performing Arts Group.
Her first debut in tamil came through an adult comedy entertainer “Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu” where she played the role of an ghost. After that She went so popular among youth audiences and media people’s in the Tamil film industry through her great performance. Then she played a stylish role in “Sei ” of nakul starrer.
Then she signed as an lead in Srikanth starrer “Un Kadhal Irundhal” which is slated for release.
Due to some similarities in her facial structure & appearance she’s sometimes referred to as the Modern day Silk Smitha in Tamil Nadu.
