Indian 2 is an sequel to 1996 vigilante action film directed by Shankar. This upcoming movie Pooja has been already held that has Kamal Haasan assuming as the lead. The movie is directed by Shankar and has Anirudh composing the music while lyca productions Subaskaran is delivering the film.

This movie’s prequel music by AR Rahman. It had Kamal Haasan in dual roles as Chandru and Senapathy. Indian 2 will have Ravi Varman taking care of the cinematography, and Sreekar Prasad heading the editing department.
It was already reported that the film is all set to go on floors from August 2019 and the latest buzz is that actress Priya Bhavani Shankar Meyaadha Maan fame will be seen playing in a crucial role in this film. Popular Bollywood and Kollywood actor who is known for his negative roles, Thuppaki fame Vidyut Jammwal will also be seen in the film.
